Eternal

We all have been told the fascinating fact that not all the stars we see are still in existence.

Their light travels although it’s origin is gone. In this way, I hope to be a star.

In this life I hope only to leave a lasting impression somewhere. Somehow, my actions or words may live on.

I’m not talking anything huge here, anything that would go down in a history book, but something small. A passing smile, words of encouragement, anything that would shine a light onto people’s lives.

When I’m gone, physically, spiritually, literally, or metaphorically, I want nothing more than for my light of influence to continue traveling: a flicker in the sky, a small glimmer, a lasting impression.

My Dusty Blog…

I thought I deleted this blog a year ago, but after it popped into my head again the other night I double checked. Nope! Here it is.

I’m more than happy to see it’s still here.

Re-reading through my older posts has made me realize how far I’ve come as a person throughout the past few years of my life.

What’s even more amazing is the fact that others still stumble upon this blog periodically.

Here’s to endings, fresh beginnings, new people, and an amount of hope and potential I never thought I’d have.

Thank you everyone who was ever there for my support. I will keep this blog active as an archive to my past for whoever wants to reminisce about “the old days.”
